Scott took an impromptu photo of me at dinner. Again, like the 'sexy' clothes. I'm wearing a cheap top from Cotton On and Scott's baggy, grey tracksuit pants (and of course, ugg boots). I'd like to change my 'hanging out at home' clothes to be more the ones worn by the character Penny on the TV show 'Big Bang Theory'. She has the sexy, casual vibe going on.

Monday 28th June
Scott and I went to Melbourne at the end of last week and so my exercise and dieting have sort of gone off the rails a bit.
This is only the second time that I have gone to Melbourne and this time I got a chance to walk around and soak up the sights while Scott attended a work conference.
This is an arcade in the city and a tea room which looked very inviting but I felt too shy to go inside on my own. Hope to go back another time and have some of those yummy looking treats. mmmmmm
As beautiful as the city is, the people are really rude and arrogant, in particular, the women. I did wonder if I would be treated the same way if I was dressed up and looked more 'polished'.

I'm really pleased with how clear my skin looks because it has been looking really red and patchy and pimply and wrinkly lately.
This is some recent photos of me without any makeup. The photos don't really show all the wrinkles and what not but it was the best I could get.
and this is the new eyeshadow set I bought from the 'Makeup Geek' site.

There are plenty of tutorials and advice and it has been instrumental in helping with the makeup part of this makeover. I'm still in the infant stage. Gathering all the makeup needed and the brushes etc, then I just need to start practicing some different looks.
The hardest part is getting used to wearing the makeup in this 'stronger' way cause I don't wear much makeup. When I was working in the public eye, I just wore some eyeliner and mascara, maybe some powder on my face and a light brown shadow.

Monday 21st June
Thought it would be a good idea to indulge last night and have some beers, sort of a like a last hurrah for the next 8 weeks... Bad move.
I woke up this morning with a headache from dehydration and did no exercise. Then, as a pick-me-up, I had a can of diet coke which, caused my blood sugar to drop drastically when I was out getting groceries, I tried some coke to get some sugar into my system but I was still feeling shaky. So, I tried the good ole snickers bar, which normally puts me right. But when I got home I still felt weak and shaky and I devoured corn chips I had bought for Scott. So not exactly off to the flying start I had hoped for.
I am booked in to get a brazillian this afternoon. So at least something today will be done in the name of 'looking good' :)
I took some photos of myself just so I can start keeping a photographic diary as well.

Sunday 20th June
My fiance and I are house sitting at the moment. Some friends are overseas for four weeks and we are looking after the beautiful pets and property.
I thought this would be a good opportunity to focus on getting into shape......hmm well one week in and my efforts have been pretty pathetic. I have walked a couple of times but no weights and too much junk food. Woops!
The date has been set for our engagement party in our home town, 14th August. That gives me exactly 8 weeks to get my ass into shape, flatten my belly and slim down my face, oh, and lose most of the cellulite.
I am going to use this as my deadline to motivate me to make the necessary changes. I need to do this. I REALLY need to do this. I want to have fun and feel sexy and confident at the party and look back on it (and the photos) with a smile.

Also, it would mean staying the night at a friends place and I don't have anything nice to wear in the pj department. Wednesday 9th June
Haven't exercised at all this week due to headaches that were on the verge of migraines. But, I have been much more careful about what I have been eating. I still haven't fully kicked the caffeine but I am drinking way less. I hope to post some pics really soon showing what I look like at the moment in certain clothes and how that will change over the next twelve weeks....now where is that camera.....

Thursday
hmm. Not a good day diet wise. Or exercise wise for that matter.
I still have really sore and stiff muscles in my thighs from my last two workouts and so I wasn't planning on doing any exercise but I started drinking cans of coke early in the morning, at the movies (along with popcorn) again in the afternoon and followed it all with a big, fat laden piece of chocolate cake.
Its as thought eating sugar makes me crave it even more. Therefore, I am going to cut back on my sugar intake and see if that makes the cravings disappear. Its going to be interesting to see how long it takes before the cravings disappear. God! I sound like a smoker or alcoholic trying to give up my 'fix'. But, in a way, the sugar is my drug. I have it to make myself feel better. To get that 'high'. What am I planning on replacing it with? Green tea and water with lemon. The water with lemon worked really well the last time I successfully dropped weight. (from 58kg to 52kg to be exact).

Its been a while.
Its been a while since I blogged. I'm no closer to my goals but I'm optimistic.
I have been exercising this week doing weights, brisk walks and walk/jog combos. I'm feeling a little sore, but good sore.
Unfortunately, my eating has left much to be desired. I buy healthy foods but end up craving crap (and eating it). My biggest problem is getting off of the coke and diet coke. The coke is full of sugar and makes me crave even more sugar and the diet coke empties from your stomach quickly so it makes me really, really hungry. Not good when you are trying to eat less and better. sigh.
Well, since I haven't lost any weight (put some on actually) I bought my first pair of sucky in pants aka control pants. You know the kind that go from you knee right up to under your boobs...nice.
I had to go to a wedding with little notice, so I was forced to take drastic measures.
